This clear, medium-viscosity adhesive is designed for trained lash professionals using a Look Gorgeous GL400 or GL400+ LED lamp. Position the extension, then activate the adhesive with the lamp to cure the bond in 0.3 seconds when used as directed.

About sensitivities
This adhesive contains ethyl cyanoacrylate. In our salon, some clients who previously had mild sensitivity to conventional lash glue have worn lashes applied with this system comfortably. Reactions vary, and clients with a history of severe adhesive reactions may still react.

How do I use it?
Step #1 - Prep
Prep the lashes as usual, wash the lashes with shampoo, and apply pretreatment for a squeaky clean slate.
Step #2 - Bend & Check
Grab the super flexible gooseneck, and position the GL400 LED lamp head 10 to 15 cm above the eye you're working on. Once in position, step on the foot pedal for a second to make sure the light is shining on the eye
Step #3 - Dip
You dip the extension in the LED Gel Glue, just as you do with traditional glue. You can use jade stone, or glue ring. Whatever you are used to works!
Step #4 - Isolate & Align
Isolate the natural lash you want to work on, and place an extension on it. Align them carefully! At this point the glue is not cured, so you can wiggle and adjust all you want.
Step #5 - Flash & Cure
When you are ready, step on the foot pedal to flash the light and within 1 to 2 seconds, the LED gel glue is completely cured.
Step #6 - Repeat
Because the glue is completely cured, continue working on neighboring lashes to save time. No need to alter the eyes, no need to worry about stickies!

Our Gel Glue is safer than the traditional glue
Low fume, clear adhesive with no carbon black
Our light-activated glue cures in 0.3 seconds under the specified conditions. In practice, we shine the GL400 lamp for 1–2 seconds to account for its angle and distance from the bond. Once cured, the adhesive no longer needs the 24–48-hour curing period associated with conventional lash glue.
In our salon, some clients who experienced mild sensitivity to conventional glue have worn lashes applied with this system comfortably. The adhesive still contains ethyl cyanoacrylate, so reactions remain possible, especially for clients with a history of severe reactions. Results vary from person to person.
Our light is NOT UV light = safe on your skin
What kind of light does the GL400 use?
The GL400 lamp is specified at 400 nm (±5 nm), near the boundary between visible light and UV-A.
UV-B is outside the GL400’s specified wavelength range.
UV-B—the type of UV most responsible for sunburn—is outside the lamp’s specified wavelength range. A small amount of UV-A may be present.
Think of an hour in direct sun at the beach versus an hour beside a sunny window. At the beach, your skin is exposed to both UV-A and UV-B, and you may tan or burn. Typical window glass blocks most UV-B, making a sunburn less likely.
During a lash appointment, use the GL400 in brief flashes at the distance specified in the manual, with the client’s eyes closed.

How should I protect the eyes during use?
Keep the client’s eyes closed while using the GL400. Position the lamp at the distance specified in the manual, and do not shine it into open eyes. For lash artists, we include safety glasses for added protection; use them as directed in the manual and avoid looking directly into the light.
Short exposure time
Brief, controlled flashes
The GL400 operates near 400 nm, outside the UV-B wavelength range. The light is activated only while the foot pedal is pressed. In our salon, we typically shine it for 1–2 seconds per lash, depending on the lamp’s position.
At two seconds per lash, a full set of 80 lashes per eye involves about 5 minutes 20 seconds of total lamp-on time. A refill of 40 lashes per eye involves about 2 minutes 40 seconds. Actual times vary.
Keep the client’s eyes closed, position the lamp as directed in the manual, and use the supplied safety glasses as directed.

How long is the retention?
Retention varies by client, application, and aftercare. The cured adhesive is oilproof and waterproof, so clients can enjoy their usual skincare and activities. In our salon, we often see longer retention than with conventional glue; some clients return about a week later than they used to, though individual results vary.
Can I use the LED gel lash system with any type of extensions?
Yes you can. You can use all types of extensions, minks, silks, singles, premade fans, handmade volume fans, eclipse lashes, any curls, any thickness. Whatever lashes you are currently using can be used with our system.
Do I need to be certified? Do I need training to use the system?
Our LED gel lash system is meant to be used by a certified eyelash professionals.
We designed our system to be used intuitively and easily, so as long as you know how to lash with traditional glue, you do not need any added training to implement our system at your salon.
How do I remove the lashes?
You can use the gel and/or cream remover you are currently using. Our LED glue is cyanoacrylate based, and the remover for traditional lash glue should work no problem.
